Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, anticipates that traditional financial assets will transition to blockchain networks, similar to cryptocurrencies, over time. He stated that the efficiencies introduced by blockchain technology make it inevitable for traditional finance to adopt these innovations.

Tenev expressed that blockchain technology will simplify financial transactions and represent the next step in the evolution of traditional processes. According to him, transfer agents, central clearinghouses, and payment processors will become obsolete, as software will take over these roles.
Tenev predicts that the policies implemented by the newly elected Donald Trump administration will accelerate the transition of stocks, private companies, and real-world assets (RWAs) to blockchain networks through tokenization. He added that private companies will also begin to operate on blockchain.
